How long has it been taking to get robots off of the pyramid? I haven't been watching any of the streams, but one of my worries was that the belay system and requirements of volunteers and students to remove robots would be a bit slow and tedious. Is that proving to be the case?

I've been seeing people lifting their robots off manually, or robots that have release valves that lower themselves.
I have barely seen the belay used, but I haven't exactly been paying attention the whole time either!

It depends on the robot.

3773 in the picture shown took a long time to get down because it swung around a lot while climbing. I think it got stuck inside of the pyramid. There was one match they needed to get a ladder for to get them down.

4819 was another robot that climbed for 30 points every match, and it took maybe a minute to use the belay system.

Robots that climbed for 10 were usually just lifted off of the pyramid without the use of the belay system.
