Did the shooter still work in that configuration? Either way, awesome.

Depending on who I'm playing against, I would often rather keep my partner at under 30" tall, but against a deadly full court shooter one has no choice.

As an inspector and one who appreciates good construction, I long for the old days when tape of any sort was not allowed in a structural use.
