Versa Arm

Completely COTS arm and roller claw assembly, using VexPro products. Just really basic stuff, but I wanted to get a feel for how easy it is to make stuff out of the new VexPro products (turns out it's really easy).

I used the VersaBlocks to clamp onto the arm tube. What you can't see is the VersaHub connecting the sprocket and the VersaBlock. The shaft is a dead axle, the bearings are contained in the VersaBlocks.

The output shafts of the gearboxes aren't connected, I just wanted to put the 2-motor gearbox and face mounted plate on to show the different options for motor and gearbox mounting configurations. The model for the 2-motor adapter is messed up, but that's my fault.

The claw is also completely COTS, and there should be a picture if it alone uploaded as well.

Any questions, fire away.

Unread Re: pic: Versa Arm
