RAMP Inspired Gearbox

Many thanks to Adam Heard and the Greybots for the RAMP series. I had to try out some of his tips even though we use Inventor. This is a single speed gearbox for three CIMs geared for about 13fps with a 6" wheel.

Looks great! This familiar design is a good way of running 3 CIM single speeds.

Just curious - why is the bearing on the bottom sticking out? Are you only running 3/16" thick plates?

No we use the bearing to locate the gearbox properly on the chassis.

It's hard to tell but your fillet sizes look a little small if you would be milling your plates. If you water jet, carry on.
