Team 3467 2014 Teaser
Teaser of our 2014 robot. This is the first year where we have actually completed the design portion of our robot in CAD so not spending the final weeks of build season designing as we go has been a nice change!
Tomorrow we pickup up most of our parts for the upper assemblies from manufacturing so we can start assembly! Can't wait to see our creation come to life.

Nice job on the CAD! Our CAD is always rushed and started by the end of week three. It gets almost completely done over the weekend, but we don't have enough time for rendering the image and modifying the textures and stuff until after the build season.

The student who was the CAD/Design lead made all of the upper assemblies based off of templates which made editing them and setting the material type extremely easy. Having a good estimate of your weight is always nice while working through the initial designs. In total Inventor says the robot will weigh about 106lbs with bumper and electronics.
