FRC 68 2014 Catapult Brakes
These steel brake shoes were inspired by one-way bearings. When engaged, they use the rotation of the catapult and friction to hold the catapult in position. This allows us to have variable start/stop positions, and removes the need for a winch with a shifting gearbox.
