Here is 1640's laser-cut electronics panel for 2014.

Tom LineThat's awesome! Just remember that the cRIO chassis should not be grounded to the frame, and that carbon fiber composite is an excellent conductor. You'll need to insulate the chassis from your electrical board.

mman1506Was it cut on a water jet or CNC routed?

Clem1640The panel was laser-cut by our sponsor, EdgeCraft. One of our senior mentors works there.
We do know about the conductivity issue. We use nylon bolts to secure the cRIO and place a thin rubber sheet between the cRIO and the panel.

This is what we used to isolate the crio.
Big style points for the hat... nice work!
