I know that in the past they would always make those fake announcements over the PA, like someone wanting a "metric adjustable wrench," but I haven't really heard it much over the past years. Its nice to see events letting people do this; I think it makes it more fun in such a high stress environment.
1089 still wins though

At $53 a pop, that is one expensive prank.

MonochronCareful who your "safety" inspector at the regional is though. Multiple teams have gotten notes that their pits are "dangerous" if they left a large number of balls in them overnight . . .

I'm assuming they used the field balls? I find it hard to believe that any team (or even a collaboration) has that many game balls.

They weren't match balls. A student on our team asked other teams to "donate" their practice balls. After we left for the night other teams were still adding to it.

cbale2000When do teams have time to do this? Do the "victim" teams leave their pits early before closing time?

Kevin PhanThanks for the balls guys. We needed to test out our fifty ball
autonomous anyway.

John RetkowskiFrom our two teams innocently taping our numbers in the other's pit, to capturing a member and wrapping them in tape, to the ball prank, we sure had a fun couple days with you guys. Lehigh was pretty memorable this year

dubiousSwainThis was honestly the most fun I've had at a competition, ever. Thank you for a great end to a great season!
