RoboRebels at Walpole Day 2014!
Walpole (MA) Day was extra special this year as most of the town had heard or read about our exploits at competitions. We had this year's Ten Ton Hamster Wheel of Doom on display (getting ready for Battlecry next weekend), our 2013 Frisbee shooter (an annual favorite), and a section of carpet with 2014's kitbot (shown in upper photo) and the 2014 prototype robot driving around. Here we have some future robot drivers practicing; even with the laptop down the PreK-FLL'er had to look under.
Tip -- robots can drive on carpet on grass, but be careful of extra long screws poking down and pulling at the tape. We had a full Field Reset crew fixing tape all day.
