I am too. I just don't know why you would have one.

Regardless a quick check of past post history indicates some interesting posts about noodle manipulators.. Sounds like they are manipulating noodles for something it just doesn't make sense what for because interaction with game pieces on the other side is forbidden.

The only reason I can think of having a fan this year is to blow unprocessed litter out of the way or into the landfill. That would clear some paths normally guarded by treacherous noodle blockades and possibly earn some points.

Look at how high its mounted and I am not seeing any pivoting mechanism, but it could just be the angle. Regardless if thats pointed towards the opposing side of the field that risks violating the no interaction with objects on the other side.

It also appears that they have a wedge on the back of their robot, which could be another noodle pushing aid.

This is just my 2 cents, but it could be pretty valuable (as long as it's legal of course) in a match against human players that can throw full field. At Dallas this weekend, noodles posed a challenge for drivers and resulted in a loss of one of our co-op stacks.

I'll be interested in seeing how they map the controls.
I'll throw in a few more cents once I have the actual mechanical people on my team look at it.
