Hyperion designed a claw to hold the RCs while stacking between Toronto and Montreal. Almost doubles our QA by allowing us to stack 2 x 6 totes with RC from the landfill.
Note: the claw was machined with a jigsaw and a drill.

ThunderousPrimeI was quite impressed that you were able to pull off that Recycling Container Stabilizer in between regional. How long did it take you to design it and how long did it take you to build and code it? (I asked one of students and I think he said it was built in about a day but I had to leave and I'm quite curious.) When you mentioned that the robot would look significantly different I thought it would either be a RC stabilizer or a Ramp of some sort and the former was right.

MonochronHow is the claw physically held together? Riveted sheet metal? brackets on the inside/outside that are rivited or bolted to the sheet metal? It's really cool that you only needed to use a jig saw and drill to fabricate it!
