This is a design I've been creating and it is not finished yet. I need to fully mount the cim motor and it is missing the pulleys and belts. Please give me any comments/suggestions on the design and any ideas on how to mount a pulley on the outside of the turning tube.

evanperrygGreat start. Your lightening pattern is pretty aggressive, I'd suggest making the supports a little thicker. To do the pulley on the module itself, I think you could just have a CNC'd pulley as the cylinder. Otherwise, some sort of 3D printed pulley would work. You could have a key in the pulley that fits into a slot on the cylinder, or you could possibly have it press-fitted.

This is a really interesting setup in that it looks like the frame that you are intending to mount the module to was built for a WCD.
I'd love to hear about how this design came about. Other than that, I'd have to agree with Evan that your lightening pattern looks shaky at best. Swerve drives have all sorts of crazy forces through them, so I would be very careful about making your mounting plate strong enough. |

I am also trying to add drop-down omnis is for drifting and getting out of T-bones(inspired by 118 2014 robot).

chrisflThat's if we go with a tank drive. I just thought it would be something cool to have if we want. Also whenever I drive mecanum, I just used the wheels to drift into tight places or get out of pins

asid61Looks pretty good. I'm wondering about that thrust bearing at the top. Is it only going throug one plate, or is there another one that we can't see? With the wide shoulder your bearing has it might be okay, but keep an eye on it, and maybe add mounting holes for an upper plate just in case something goes wrong.
As other have said, your lightening pattern is too aggressive.
I would also add another bolt to mount it on the siderail, as the lower-right bolt is only secure by the bottom of the 2x1 there, which is only secured by a gusset plate or bellypan, so it will move around.
