Are the logos intentionally grouped tightly together?

For many (most) logos, I recommend people search for that companies identity or brand standards/guidelines. Lots of good info about logo placement, white space usage, separation from other graphics, and minimum size requirements, etc.

Examples:

NASA - http://sservi.nasa.gov/wp-content/up...Guide_v2.1.pdf

Quote:

BAE (Not on your standard, but useful for a lot of other teams and a good example.) - http://issuu.com/bondo/docs/bae

I'm not sure what agreements you've made with your sponsors, but are you sure you even want to put sponsor logos on there? Our team has made it very clear where we will put sponsor logos (T-shirts, banner, robot, website, etc.). We have not stated that we will put their logos on our team standard, so they shouldn't expect to see it on there. Additionally, we have so many sponsors, we couldn't fit them all on there if we wanted to (and have logos be visible). I would suggest refraining from putting sponsor logos on team standards.

To add to Travis,

Sort of hard to tell for the others, but at a glance, the NASA insignia and Textron's logo appear to be stretched. Many branding standards documents prohibit the stretching/skewing/distortion of their logos. You can find NASA's language regarding stretching on page 5 of the branding guide that Travis linked to above. You can also see that FIRST prohibits the distortion of their logos on page 11 of their branding guide here.
