Go to Post Engineering is all about trade offs. You can design yor system to do A, B or C easily. Combining A abd C or A and B or B and C requires some effort. Combining A, B and C should be near impossible. - Mike Betts [more]

Thanks for posting the manual. For some reason, AM has not uploaded one to the product page yet. We ordered the same kit on 1/11. When did you order your kit and when did it arrive? I'm just trying to get an idea for when to expect it. Thanks

We ordered it as soon as it went live 1/10. From there we received it the 14th

If you ordered it the next day they estimated it would come around the 22nd.

The assembly is a little odd without a manual so if you need any help PM me.

If you're not already planning on it, you might want to throw another pair of CIM motors on those gearboxes, pneumatic tires tend to scrub a bit more than standard wheels when turning due to their squishiness.

It is definitely something we are thinking of.

Right now our motor count is at 2 775Pros, and 4 Cims. Not to mention an onboard compressor.

2 of the motors (775's)will be used on a shooter
1 of the motors(Cim) will be used to articulate the shooter
another 1 of the motors(Cim) will be used to articulate a piston (Only for endgame).
and the 2 other two cims are on the drive train. We are going to mount electronics on the chassis today and test it out. If we have to add 2 more cims it is not an issue but we will be maxing out our cim count and Brownouts will be a fear.

6 CIMS (On your DT) is where you should be concerned about brownout, not 4. If you can find it in your budget, try to acquire more CIMS, or strongly reconsider your current motor allocations.

This. Please, before its too late, put 4 cims in your drivetrain. Brownouts shouldn't be a concern unless you are running a 6cim drivetrain and 2 775 hanger while in a pushing match against a new England team.

Looks nice! Just a bit of friendly advice, you probably want to put your bolts in from the outside, not the inside. Especially in a game of compact robots like this year, removing one of those long axle bolts from the inside is likely to be a total pain.

I look forward to seeing the rest of your robot!
