I have to ask, did you name your robot after the (in)famous game announcer of FRC past, Sir Charles? What ever happened to that guy anyway?

Ha, the robot was actually named after a former mentor who passed away in December. No reference to the announcer intended. We added the "Sir" to fit the game. Kinda like this:

I immediately thought of that Sir Charles as well. He's Atlanta local and doesn't travel much - WPI once flew him up as a surprise for the regional, and that's the last time I've seen him announce.
Fun fact: he also had his own gospel radio hour for a while. I would have loved to hear it.

It does shoot high goal. The ball is held in the intake for low goal, or pulled back past the shooter wheels and pushed back through with a pneumatic plunger for a high goal shot.
