How is the performance of the tank drive in terms of driving? From what I'm seeing, you are relying on the grip between the wheels and the belt to power the tracks, but I imagine it will become harder to drive overtime as the wheels wear down.

There was a team at the Australia Regional, who attempted to do a similar thing, but using pulleys and toothed belts. They had some difficulties getting it working how they wanted, so they replaced the belts with 8 inch Pneumatic Wheels at the event.

How did you attach the flange to the tread, and how effective is it at preventing the treads from coming off in say a t-bone situation.

Traction Between the Wheels and the belt is not a problem it will spin the track up against the wall. The track needs to be tight haven't had any problems with it walking off. Pressure from the side doesn't seem to affect us. The belting that we got had the embedded centering yellow stripe. Just found it on eBay. Haven't noticed anywhere between the rubber track and the rubber Wheels. It seems very solid in weeks 0. we can do a solo breach and shoot high or low we have an auto for everything but drawbridge and Sallie port
