After a sharpening, does the room smell of burning wood?
While that is quite a conversation starter, I might suggest you save space and avoid the chance of disintegration due to floor contact, by buying a bunch of mechanical pencils.

ctt956Finally, a pencil sharpener whose motor doesn't separate from the gearbox and/or gearbox doesn't separate from the sharpening blade! Or at least one that's (easily)repairable if it does separate.
