Team 3309 High School Advert

This year, our team was able to get ad-space in our high-school's printed promotional magazine/packet which gets sent to most of the families who attend.

I decided to take some design tips from Apple to create this, and thought the CD community would like to check it out. Let me know what you think!

Definitely looks cool.
But, to me, it sounds like the students aren't the champions.

And there are no RoboDome references.

Nice Job.

Things to check on.
- Gold color is hard to read. Verify color contrast by using a Color Contrast Checker, like Snook.ca
https://snook.ca/technical/colour_co...FF33,bg=333333

- The shadow under the robot. I would try a ground line or a more diffuse light source

- Make the robot image larger without crowding the page.

I really like it! You have a good eye for composition. The white space is very effective at concentrating your eye on the message.

Oh boy do I know this struggle... I love our yellow but I basically can only write in black for print.

As far as thoughts:

- Try and fill out the top more. White space is nice, but it has to have balance.

- I can't tell from the resolution, but you may want to replace black text with dark gray.

- This may not be allowed by your branding, but I would see how the FB logo that you guys have would look instead of the numbers. 3309 looks a bit busy for this uber-simple (and beautiful) layout.
