Swerve? Elevator? 4-bar? Blue?

I like the cut of your jib, kid. This is a man who knows how to make a robot.

Could we get a shot of the backside to see how it rotates as it raises up?

+1

This is an amazing design for a 6 week time frame absolutely insane for 72 hours. Well done!

How many people were on your team?

We had 3 people. The other two members were pretty new to CAD, with one only having it for about 2 weeks. Brant from 1477 worked on the drivetrain and added the colors, and a user here on named Nessie from 2702 worked on intake ideas and designed the bumpers.

We have some interesting parts you cant see in the renders, tune into the live show tonight at 8pm EST at https://www.twitch.tv/firstupdatesnow to see more details on ours, and everyone elses robots!

CAD looks really good. My only real hesitance is your entire game piece manipulator is cantilevered on a single 1/2 hex shaft and the teeth of the bevel gears.

Did you guys know you don't want to have blue lines in your sketches?... I mean, I know that now. As someone very new to CAD I learned a bunch participating in this challenge. Working on a project with people more knowledgeable than yourself as teammates is one of the best ways to improve.(I still have a long way to go, but this was a good start!)
