ZebraVision 3.0 – Team 900

Zebravision 3.0 is a culmination of libraries and several applications that are designed to use a Logitech C920 camera mounted to a robot to detect recycling bins in the 2015 FRC game: Recycle Rush. It is designed to run in real time using the OpenCV library onboard a NVIDIA Jetson TK1 DevKit mounted to the robot.

ZebraVision 3.5 – Team 900

Zebravision 3.5 is Team 900’s work done in the postseason of 2015 and preseason of 2016. Our focus has been finding new ways to gather information about our robot’s surroundings. We have been working to integrate the StereoLabs ZED, a stereoscopic camera, into the 2015 vision system with the Jetson TK1.

Zebravision 4.0 is Team 900s vision system for 2016. Our work was focused around recognizing the vision goals using shape and color based matching, recognizing the boulders using a neural network, and integrating the detection systems into a tracking system using the StereoLabs ZED stereo camera.

Zebravision 4.0 Goal Detection - Team 900

Zebravision 4.0 is Team 900s vision system for the 2016 season; FIRST Stronghold. Our work was focused around recognizing the vision goals using shape and color based matching, recognizing the boulders using a neural network, and integrating the detection systems into a tracking system using the StereoLabs ZED stereo camera. One of the main features of Team 900’s Zebravision code this year was goal detection. This paper gives an overview of the hardware and code used.
