This robot was amazing all weekend. Props to them for making such an amazing machine – will be a worlds-level contender
It was really cool to see 111 back to the form that I remember growing up. They’ve been on a climb pre-pandemic for sure, but this is an elite tier robot.
Realistically this version of 111 is 2014 rookies. Our only remaining mentors/students/teachers from pre-2014 is @Al_Skierkiewicz, @Erictornabene and myself back now as a mentor.
Current 111 is largely mentored by FRC alumni, including teams 71, 111, 135, 2451, and 3501. It’s been quite a process to get some momentum going, but we’ve got a top tier crew facilitating this exciting chapter in the team’s history. Can’t wait to see what’s to come for us.
