12 volt sensor distribution breaker panel?

We have been reading the manual as to how to hook upi this years new set of sensors.
and in order to supply to power to the sensors it mentions that the sensor getis its power from the “12 volt sensor dristribution breaker panel”.
were kinda wondering where this is, and we have eliminated the possibility of the power supply comoing off of a PWM output because it only supplies 7.2 volts.

are we missing something here?

I don’t recall wording like that in the manual, and I didn’t find it quickly. Please specify where you’re reading it, and we’ll try to help interpret it.

The section to which you refer, requires that all powered sensors receive power through a 20 amp circuit breaker in one of the circuit breaker panels that your team chooses to use.

Last year, in response to a rule like this but with things like the gyro and accelerometer using a PWM hookup getting power from the 7.2 volt battery in other sections of the manual and documentation, I asked about it in the Q+A and FIRST approved hooking a gyro and accelerometer directly to the PWM power instead of running a separate 12 volt line and regulator. This year’s ruling might be different…
