Turn volume down a bit if you dont want to be blasted with some intense dubstep! hahaha! comment on thoughts! thanks!
First “non lead screw” arm for Gael Force ever, perhaps? Cool to see a new design…sure it will prove useful in the future!
Good luck this season…see you guys in NH!
Great Job! Looking forward to seeing you guys at GSR.
Thanks guys! see you at BAE!
Sweet autonomous… Have you though about running your arm and your drive at the same time? It looks like your getting awfully close to that 15 seconds… Can’t wait for BAE
thanks! Well it would be a good idea to run both at the same time, but i guess the programmers just wanted to get a working auto mode that put up the tubes. That will be the next step :D, we clocked in at about 13 seconds so we are pretty close to the 15 second mark! see you at BAE!
Yeah I expect to see 3 ubertubes on the top row of at least one alliance in finals at BAE… and that alliance will be the one that wins.
Time to get some sleep…
I have a double cap to code up tomorrow.
Awesome, simple robot, but my favorite part is the great dubstep mix.
Looks great! Assuming you are using line finders, do you have them wired for 12V or 24 V?
Thanks! And yes, we are using line finders and i am pretty sure they are wired for 12V
The reason I asked is because ours were working fine at 12V, but if our battery voltage wasn’t tip-top they would freak out (because they are designed to stop working if they hit 10.9 V, and running multiple motors was causing the battery to drop below this.)
Rob Heslin, chief inspector for FLR, suggested that we wire them through the solenoid bumper (and code them to be always on), so that they were getting 24V, and that this should fix the problem…
…my team should be testing this as I sit here typing!
Ahh, i see. Well i will mention it to my lead programmer today, we have however been having battery problems, so that may be something to think about for us. Thanks!
Looking good! Autonomous is going to be huge this year, and this will be a great benefit to have a consistent and reliable program. See you guys in St. Louis!
Looks good! Autonomous is going to be fun to watch this year, since scoring on the high peg is the big thing for points…
thanks guys, jeff your teams robot looks fantastic as always! see you in St. Louis!
…and it works like a dream!
Awesome, and the music makes it awesomer!
