Watch for us on the Curie field Thursday-Saturday!! Good Luck All Teams

Ya know, some people may question why you are posting videos of ramp climbing - but actually, in your case, I think it’s a smart thing to do - based solely on pictures, people may see your really low ground clearance and think you would have a problem getting up ramps. Good job using video to dispel any doubts. This is useful information. Some ramps may still be inaccessible to you, but those with tapered lips seem to pose no climbing issues.

I dunno about Buckeye there other event, but I was at Florida. 1270 has a great machine this year it flat out scores. The secret to them and 1251 climbing the ramp at Fl was 86 has one of the best constructed ramps I have seen this year. The ramp is huge for one and doesn’t have a lip that your robot needs to clear. Anyway good luck to 1270 at championships.

“Curse you Red Barron! We live to fight another day!!!”

…no really…I see that 2 teams (86 and 1270) from the excellent alliance that won Florida, will be in our division in ATL (Curie) Good luck to both of you, and to TechTigers (1251) on Galileo.

I can vouch for 86’s well designed ramps and for 1270’s scoring ability. I watched them win it all at UCF.

My Intentions Exactly Trav. We do have a very low base but we cut angles in the front and back of the robot on the bottom corners so that the the outer 4 wheels, (2 on each side) protrude and allowing us to have the wheels contact the ramp before the frame does. The ramps that have lips on the inside (anything other than the outer 2) are the the ones that we will not be climbing.

Thanks you guys have a nice machine too, and I can say that 86 has a very nice ramp.

Thanx again and Curie should be warned about the spam bot too, it can score with the best of them and when it gets to the endzone and deploys it looks like someone just put last years ramp back on the field.

Team Resistance 86 is very fortunate for 1251 and 1270 to choose us in the alliance selection. I have to say that you guys has the maddest tube pickers I have ever seen at the UCF. I like Spam 180’s ramp’s coverage area and how they were able to keep all in tight package.

Good luck in Galileo field, 1251! 180 and 1270, we will see you guys at Curie field! Good Luck everyone and make it the best experience you can possible have!
