What method are you using to track the ball in hybrid - CMUcam? IR?

Gyro! No IR, no camera those runs. We are trying for IR at Trenton. 3 pos. auto switch to tell which pos. the robot is in and 3 of the IR buttons to tell robot where ball is. Last button to Stop if anything goes wrong. So set robot in position 1-3. Let robo coach tell robot where to go next to get ball. Besides that idea, its fully autonomous, not hybrid yet.

The first clip is our driver operating the bot, the second is actually our autonomous using a remote.

We can also pick up the ball from the floor with ease as well as hurdle on the fly.

Perhaps you can post another video of that Liam?

Oh and the ball should get over the rack with ease, since at our facility the ceiling was low and the ball kept bouncing off it and back onto the overpass. :slight_smile:
