I have to say that’s the first side climber I’ve seen.
I was pretty concerned about that when it was proposed because it just seemed so wrong. I have say it seems to work flawlessly except when we had to use 550 paracord at our week zero scrimmage (the kids forgot the rope) and it fell from a few feet up with broken cord:ahh: . We normally use 3/16 Spectra so breaking isn’t a problem.
You (and the rest of 1540) are on a pretty good run as far as mechanical team ambition goes. Like last year, it looks like you will have a very competitive robot. It plays all three parts of the game nicely and looks really carefully crafted. I love your chicken branding… and what a great robot name. I look forward to seeing you guys at the PNW competitions this year.
