Wut.
Plz nerf.
This is the one time I’m happy about 2 Champs. Good luck in Houston!
Epic. Epic. Epic. Epic. Epic. Epic. Epic. Epic. Epic. Epic.
2 from the rendezvous zone just before the right trench.
Thanks, realized that one second before you posted
This is illegal and ungraciously unprofessional
You stop that right now!
Kid is wearing a Wave shirt… Clearly Wave can take some credit for this.
Awesome auto, clearly not the 1st time. I’m a bit disappointed.
I’m speechless. We thought that 8 was going to be a world-class auto this year, and now we’re looking at 10 PCs in week 1.
something tells me that this will not be the year the einstein streak ends
Love it. For teams attending events with y’all, what would be the best way to do an auto routine that doesn’t get in the way of this 10 ball? My guess is to stay between the auto line and the alliance station since it seems like the robot stays behind that for most of the video but asking to make sure.
No turret is an interesting choice.
We just started that same conversation. There aren’t a lot of “safe zones” on the field during this routine.
LAN is going to be even more insane/competitive than expected…
Just something I noticed
This is 2 cycles in 15 seconds. During teleop, I think with this kind of alignment time and intake speed, I think 10 seconds per cycle is reasonable.
2:30 for teleop (I think its safe to say 1678 can climb in less than 15 seconds) allows for 15 cycles in teleop. Adding on the 2 cycles in auto, this is 85 balls in a match. It seems as though around half of the balls are going in the inner port, so it seems like the average amount of points a team like 1678 could score with just balls is 212-213 points.
Adding on 40 points for a climb (assuming we don’t see another insane triple climb which isn’t out of the question) and 5 points crossing the auto line, this robot could probably solo about 250 points in a clean, no defense match.
I made a lot of assumptions, but this could be what some high level play would look like at the worlds level. Interesting
Only 10? Kind of a letdown
One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Eight.

Amazing job, 1678! Raising the bar yet again. I hope I can make it down to Houston so I can see this machine in person
cries in robot not finished yet
fr tho, this is amazing, and i’m frankly surprised that you decided to go short.
