FYI, as you probably know.
Hawaii has it own version of MATE, called HURC.
We (the State) are planning a sustainability funding to provide 25k to the program and to send a winning team to any kind of national level competition.
Oh man, it seems like the slots are filling up quickly!
Our team is still trying to make plans in order for us to be able to register for the competition. Hopefully all of the slots won’t be taken when we’re ready!
By the way, our team is going to be sharing some its designs for NURC this year, so we encourage other teams to come take a look at what we’re doing. We’re still in the design/prototyping phase, though, but things seem to be going great. The competition ought to be a lot of fun this year, with so many more teams than last year!
