So, this is what I’ve done in boredom during our 2 hour delay on Friday. I got this video from the shop, all the way from 1993. I thought it was interesting, so I digitized it. So, here you go. Click here for details. The movie is about 10 minutes long, with a high and low resolution download.
I think the real interesting part starts at 9:40 with the quote.
PS: I want to thank XDrive. Great service, which I can open more accounts…
Wow, that is incredibly interesting just to see how much the competition has grown. Just to think in 10 years how its gone from 1 competition to so many we have to have all around the country. This is probably one of the best first movies ive seen in a while, because it shows the growth of FIRST and it shows that the message of FIRST is the same then as now.
Its also very cool to think that while I was 5, this was going on. Great find!
ps. This also looked like a great competition, i loved some of the designs of the robots, especially with the detachable baskets and the one that blocks goals. That was great.
Put the file on your website ( if its your own server or if you have room) of once I get Cesar running again on my server mike-site.us I could let you upload it there then it’d be free to everyone and I have unlimited bandwidth usage on sDSL.
That was great! Anyone have a digitized copy of the 60 Minutes episode from 2001 where they mention “IT”? I called 60 Minutes last year to get a copy and they’re out of their archived copies.
