2 Fast 2 Furious

Don’t read this thread if you haven’t seen the movie yet!

I was just wondering whether anyone thought that the second one was better than the first. I thought so. After you vote, make a post telling me what your favorite scene was. My favorite was probably the ejection seat one.

Can I say that the first was much better. And on the level with movies out right now, The Itallian job is much better. C 2F2F would’ve been better if they had mini coopers in it. (especially mini coopers with nos:p )

I have no desire to see it. The first wasn’t all that great, and I can’t imagine the sequel being any better.

But its got Ludacris and Tyrese in it!! It’s going to be … ‘off tha hook’, as the cool kids say.

Any movie with ‘2’ in the title in place of ‘too’ automatically loses my interest. (see signature for similar mis-usage of the letter u)

I saw the Italian Job the other day and it was freakin awesome  Totally enjoyed it…muchly…yes…I would definitely recommend seeing it!

I would like to take some precious time out of your life by adding that I agree with both Jeff’s and Brandon’s comments.

On another note, I saw a commercial for a “Redline” street racing video, tonight. It looked like a “Girls Gone Wild With Cars And Low Quality Video.” It was advertized as being “from the executive producer of The Fast and the Furious.”

In the immortal words of MattK, “what are they comming to?”

Ricers.

I dislike ricers.

They destroy a Camaro and Challenger.

An Eclipse with NOS was having trouble keeping up with the HEMI powered vehicle - but some how the Eclipse still won.

Darn those types of movies past the core of the earth…

Go see the Matrix:Reloaded - Probably one of the best movies I have seen in a while…

(sorry for the rant - I really dislike ricers… Give me good ol’ Hemi’s over any 4- or 6- bangers…)

haha. I hate ricers too. I drive a '91 Mercury Sable, so I obviously don’t ever race . . .

But once, I was accelerating out of a stoplight, and this riced up eclipse was keeping pace with me . . . . when I stopped accelerating at 5mph over speed limit(normal driving speed) and they passe . . they waved and yelled as if they had won a race. I was hardly riding my gas at all. . . and they were keeping up with me . . . hahahahaha.

Anywho, another fun story about dumb ricers is HERE! hahahahaahahah!

I thought the above was vastly entertaining. Funfacts: 7k rpms in fifth=129 mph.

129mph in second=16000 or 17000 rpms.

haha, 16000 rpms = boom.

BWAAA!!!

It sounds like most people didn’t like either the first or second fast and the furious. I thought that they were both good. The first one was like an ordinary movie and the second was a lot better. I saw it on its premier night. Two guys who worked at the theatre made a short speech before the movie started welcoming us and so on. One of the guys looked like Nick from SPAM. Hey Nick, if you read this, let me know if that was actually you. (big Nick, not small Nick)

LOL! Shows you what ricer drivers can do - just glad it was to a p.o.s. import instead of good ol’ american muscle…

American muscle sux. I’m sorry but Germans are the only ones who can make cars…

You can’t say that about trucks. No one can make trucks like Americans.

http://mindscraps.com/s/contrib/dday/shocked.gif Man - where have you been?!

You can’t tell me anything about foreign cars right now. Everyone has their spots. If you go out the new CTS by Cadillac - you can have luxury sedan for under $30,000. If you are going for performance - have you read Autoweekly lately? In their they try the new Dodge Viper - they say that It’s much better than a Ferrari.

I realize that “each to his own” - but @#@#@#@#. Show me something that the Germans try to build - but the americans have already dominated it…

(sorry for the rant…agian…)

Um well i liked the second one. Tyrese was funny. And the exhibit of cars where nice. I am a big fan of cars even the rice rockets. I used not to like the rice rockets but since i am getting rid of my truck and getting a eclipse and doing all the hop-ups i am fan of them now. The best car in the second one was def the louie vaton (spelling) ram 1500. I am a big truck fan and i will always have a truck.I was glad to see the differetn trucks in there. Like the F-350 with the lift kits, that was nice. In that car scene i saw alot of pt cruisers. AT least 15-20 of them. That was kidna strange but since my family has one not that bad jsut there was alot of them and it was an american car :ahh: The mustangs where nice to new.

Also, just keep in mind that you probably insulted about 100 engineers on this Forum.

Heyo firstly Ferraris are Itallian, and secondly think of who owns Dodge now, Mercedes-Benz. German.

And for domination, yes American cars have muscle but for performance and longivity of a car Germans have us beat. Most German cars are being built with a turbo or super charged engine. American cars are still just engines, and yeah so what if Chrysler has a V-12, (who are also owned by Mercedes) will it hold together after the first hundred thousand miles? Highly doubt it.

ARe you forgetting chrysler just came out with Turbo and Dodge now has the hemi. All American cars hold togethter good. Plus if you are looking at pricing. I would take a Dodge Viper over a Ferrari everday. Two reasons. YOu are getting the same kind of luxury out of both cars except the Viper is 20,000 less. Second when you need to fix a Ferrari its gonna cost alot more to fix it then it would a viper. because they need to ship int he parts. Same with any car bmw, mercedes. Bascially when you are paying that much you are paying for the name

Dude - you defiantly don’t know your types of engines in your vehicles…

1st off - the Viper is not powered by a V-12. It’s a V-10. It’s a 8.3 (505 cu) Naturally Aspirated 500 HP, 525 ft/lb torque. The triple 500s. Show me another manufacture that can pull that off w/o any turbos or anything.

If you wanna get nasty - get the Viper Hennessey Venom 800 Twin Turbo. Twin turbo added to that V-10 - will smoke just about anything that those foreign people can throw at it. (800 HP and 800 ft/lbs of torque at the rear wheels!!) - $127,225 including price of Viper. Who else can pull that off? Not Ferrari, or any other company that I can think off… (at only 14 lbs of boost it can run the 1/4 mile in 10.0 seconds…) The average life for the turbo engine is 100,000 before any major rebuilds WITH the twin turbo. (lets see some other company do that…)

2nd - What is in the Viper that was engineered by Mercedes? Not a darn thing. The Viper is still 100% American designed. As for the new Chrysler 300 C that has the Mercedes five-speed automatic, as well as a Mercedes steering system, seat structures, electronic architecture, many suspension components and a basic design from the Mercedes E-class, it’s still an American car. It’s engineering and parts usage is from Germany - but they had to make it fit into the American way.

3rd - If you wish to argue - PM or IM me - I’ll be glad to argue. CD.com is meant for fun and all we have been doing is arguing and taking up valuable pixel space…

I’m out.

lol
I never mentioned the viper once, did I? and i didn’t mean the viper, when i said the V-12.

and u r right about the arguing. So I shall end my arguing and ranting here on the dot
