2 joysticks, only one shows up?

Our team just bought 2 Logitech Extreme 3D pro joysticks because we are planning on using it to do tank drive. Why don’t they both appear on the Driver station? Only one shows up at a time. Do we have to manually re-ID them? Thanks!

Edit: I DID IT!

I found out that triple clicking on the controller in the USB page of the driver station will remove the controller. Then you will have to plug one in and it will auto connect. Remove another controller and plug the second one in and it will add on as a new controller.

They should both show up as separate devices.

I have had a similar issue which was resolved by installing the proper drivers: https://download01.logi.com/web/ftp/pub/techsupport/joystick/lgs510_x64.exe

How many total USB ports are on the computer? Mayhap one is broken. We ended up just snagging a USB hub from Walmart as we had 3 controllers but only 2 ports on our drive/code/cheap black friday laptops.

we had 3 ports. They are the exact same controllers. We are gonna try to change the name of one, will update!

I don’t think them being exactly the same matters all that much, really. We have one Logitech and two xbox controllers. And the xbox units are the same brand, bought on the same day, worked right out of the box. Assuming this is a windows box what does the “Set Up Game Controllers” app show if you plug both in?

So I changed the name on one controller and it says the same name for both. The set up game controllers thing shows the same name for each.

Are they both showing in the windows control panel when plugged in at the same time?

I dont know if you saw my update on the original post, I was able to figure out how to do it.
