20 point auto club

Team 333 has an impressive, make sense, everyone should do it 20 point auto doing the low bar…in reverse order.:grinning:

Which 2 are the famous teams?

Such a great solution. I’m pretty sure 333 didn’t have vision, so lining up in that spy zone really helped them get the same shot every time.

1619 can.

I am certain many more teams will be doing this by the time Champs occurs.

Though I think we only made it once but it was week 1.

After lots of tuning throughout the competition 3238 managed to make it’s first 20 point even after being bumped by an alliance partner.

This is our 1 ball auto in one of our matches at Alamo. Sorry for the dark video, our camera settings were a bit messed up at Alamo…

No 15 pt Auto club? :]

4334 can.

2013 on a regular basis. Though twice at GTRE we tried out a new auto lane (5), had trouble finding the goal and scanned the audience before launching the boulder across the stadium. We fixed this but also came up with a new auto routine…auto roulette…cross the defences and spin. If you see our shot, you will understand.

3620 has that one also. 20 pt is just as reliable. Either way you need partners with controlled, predictable autons to make the shot worthwhile – if the risk of missing is too high then it is better to wait for teleop.

This is another objection to d@#n-the-torpedoes auton.

Here is a video of team 1305 doing a 20 point auto at the greater Toronto East regional. http://watchfirstnow.com/archives/158809798

Team 3792 has a 20 point auto. We missed more than we made but we did in fact make it in a couple of matches.

Here is the first that we made at the St. Louis Regional https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKzEiY58ceE

Indeed. I believe they used a flashlight for ligning up their shots in teleop, but no actual autoaim. The move from a 10 point auto in New York (Just the shot) to a 20 point auto in Tech Valley (Shot+low bar cross) was, in my opinion, perhaps the biggest improvement they made.
Consistent autonomous is a crucial criteria in terms of alliance selection this year especially.

2046 made 8/9 of our 20 pt autos in the elimination rounds at Auburn Mountainview… and a number of them in our quals as well, but only when we were on the red alliance…

Team 2471. Unfortunately off-camera, but the announcer and the score confirm.

Team 4488 also hit the auto high goal in their first Finals match, but was a buzzer beater and wasn’t scored correctly as an auto shot.
