This update covers the issue of stacking and unaligned stacks on the goal.

because SIDE-STACKED tetras DO change the fundamental laws of physics!
oh well… I do personally believe the side stacking tetra defense would have been an interesting strategy to watch.

It is great that FIRST addressed this before it became an issue, now drivers will be able to stack more freely ( I don’t know if that was proper English or not) with out having to be afraid of not nesting the tetra correctly and losing the goal. Thank you FIRST.
First of all, this is a great change. I’m glad FIRST came out with this update. FIRST really has done a lot of great things this year to address many of the issues that the teams have found.
Secondly (as someone already pointed out), whoever wrote this update deserves a big pat on the back. This was not an easy thing to explain, yet the update is very clearly written and easy to understand.

there goes the idea of nested tets… the judges at UCF just scratched their head when we tried to see what their ruling was lol
