Yeah, sure Just PM me your E-mail address, and a few other people can too. Just don’t re-distribute any code in any way, and don’t re-use any of the graphics in your own projects. You can, however, get a a better feel for how to create and manupulate object types in Flash by looking at this. Also… feel free to e-mail me Actionscript questions.
Great job on the program. This is helping my team a lot to develop our strategy. Thanks for the sleepless nights.
This program is awesome! Helped me a lot and saved lots of time using this.
Awesome job! Looks stunning :ahh:
Excellent Program! Just a few very minor things that I’m wondering about.
Can you calculate up the end zone points?
What ideas do you have for the controls menu?
Thanx again! Amazing Program!
Amazing. I must applaud you. The teams of FIRSt will truly appreciate this great program
Thanks this is a really neat utility
however i found a minor bug in it while playing around at a meeting
I put all the blue tetras under one goal
Pic 1
I reset the game but the tetras under the goal didn’t go away
Pic 2
And then i just kept clicking one of those squares and it gave me unlimited tetras.(look where it says BLUE TETRAS LEFT)
Pic 3
Is this a cheat code / easter egg or something
WOW very impressive…espsically the 3d part to show the rows of stacks
Keep up the good work !
Very very very nice!!!
I’m glad everyone likes the program! Thanks for your support
Yes indeed, it’s a minor bug that I discovered soon after I wrote it, but I had already compiled and reshacked the program, and didn’t want to do it again to fix a bug that I thought no one would run in to during normal use. Thanks for pointing it out, though :] And wow, you really did a lot of clicking and dragging to produce those shots :ahh: I’ve exploited the bug because I knew of it too, but really, I’ve never had the patience to go that far, hehe
What are the greyed out options for?
I would first like to say that this is an amazing program!
I was just wondering what the two tetras are for that are off the screen. if you restore down the size of the field, they become visible and can be put into play. they cant be stacked or capped. Is this just a small bug?
Hehe, it’s just how one programs in flash. The blue tetra is the one that is initialized and copied to produce all the tetras that the game uses. The red tetra contains 3D Tetra rendering code that I chose to disable. I decided not to make them invisible, just so people might run in to the disabled 3D rendered tetra and wonder what it was for…
awesome job, thanks for puttin the time in to do this, im sure a lot of teams will use this, i already kno that my team has used this alot, thx
We have a very low-tech version of a game simulator - a Triple Play board game. Not as sexy as Suneet’s work (and thanks!) but doesn’t need a computer to play it. We’re using it to learn game strategies during build-team breaks. It’s a reasonable but not perfect simulation.
Rules and a ppt or jpg version of the game board are here:

It makes a fun board game, even for people who have nothing to do with FIRST. It also quickly got me thinking differently about how to play the game. Good training for coaches.

i still have to admit, your program is quite a bit nicer than mine. I like a couple of features that you added into it like the way you pick and choose if the tetra goes on top or bottom.
