This will be another great event. It will remind me of those Rutger’s University Regionasl back in the day where it’s a nice cozy bunch of teams that close to all the action.Maybe tehy’ll figure out how to webcast it this year.

Team 772 will be there (with a new name… the Sabre Bytes! - formerly Club Sandwich). I know it’ll be a blast :).
I like the name Club Sandwich. 
FLR rocked last year, Have to agree with JVN on it being one of the best regionals i’ve been too. No robotics for me this year I’ll make my comeback next year. (unless im living the biodome lifestyle down in antartica for 6 weeks, hopefully it wont be a problem)
I’ll be there. Heck I’m already there… I live on campus.

It’s definitely a shame that alot of the extras are being cut. To me this is a foreshadowing of things to come. Everyone is getting tighter and tighter with budgets (that’s not new) but when will we end up not having the means to run the program anymore? I’m currently being asked to pinch whatever pennies we have and we’ve already been doing it for the last 7 years I’ve been involved already. From the looks of it we as volunteers already do more and more each year and sooner or later there will be a a limit that there won’t be anymore volunteers left to run the program. Sure that’s an extreme outlook but I think teams are being stretched too thin lately.

I am looking forward to seeing all the ROC robots and getting back on the sticks. Plus I have heard rumors about the MC/Announcer duo so I am looking forward to that.

I won’t be traveling to RIT this year - but it will always be on my “must see Regional list” as it was the greatest I have ever been to.
I want to send out best wishes to to Chuck 84 as they prepare to leave for Rochester, and Good Luck to all others this weekend.
Well I leave for FLR in 23 hours. Can’t wait for it, its bound to be yet another year of excitement.

Well i have 1 quiz at 8:30am, 4 Classes 9-1, lab 2-5. then drive home. yay not stop 8:30am-11pm. oh joy. All tomorrow before i can leave for the Finger Lakes Regional.

I have my visor set to detect the tachion particles that are emitted by the orange boarder while staring at the CD forum all day
so I will be able to spot everyone from CD at FLR
even through walls! :^)
