2007 Buckeye Regional

Thanks! You guys were an awesome alliance partner in Pitt! Hopefully we’ll make it to Atlanta and see you there! Good luck in Atlanta!

We were going to Buckeye, but the Martians and Frog Force done scared us away. The wheather’s so nice here, we’ll stay home and go golfing instead. NOT!

[HINT]highlight\HINT]

Shh don’t give away the winning alliance plan just yet.

That would be scary.
But i think 65 + 48 would be cool aswell… hehe (Keeping hopes high)

That would be just fine with us!! I’m just hoping we can keep our good fortunes going the right way–a lot of strong teams this year at Buckeye!! Good luck!!

Less than a week till Buckeye! I can’t wait…This will be the first time I have attended Buckeye and Ive been hearing a lot of good things about this regional also!

Looking forward to the teams in Cleveland, this will be a large step up from Pitt last week. I am curious to see how the game plays out with a much bigger field, also looking forward to playing again with the teams that were in Pitt - as long as 48 has their ramps on, there is no eye protection required in the stands, if they pull them off - be ready to duck! :yikes:

We hope to host a lot of you guys on our nice, big ramps… But not until late qualifiers/ Eliminations…

… Wouldn’t want you to think we couldn’t score

Does any one know where a link for the Buckeye web cast is?

We are ready for the Buckeye. Looking forward to climb any ramp put down in front of us. Well, looking at the Buckeye list I think its gonna be a tough regional, we are hoping to do as well as we did in Florida. Anyways Good Luck All and lets make this regional the highest scoring regional this year!!

Hey, has anyone thought about a Buckeye “mini-hug”? There seem to be quite a few CD people going, and since this may be a lot of the members of 306’s last competition, we’d like to meet as many as we can.

… Just a thought.

You can all come visit 48’s pit at the same time - it’s always fun to try and get our “Captain Safety” to have a nervous breakdown.

If someone suggests a good place and time, I’ll stop by. If I forget (I’m old), feel free to come drag me out of my pit.

We are returning to the Buckeye Event for the first time in a few years…
For you seasoned Buckeye vets, are the pre-order meals (lunch) worth the expense? Our team will have a bus, but do not want to travel far from the event center during the lunch break. Are the concessions priced the same as pre-order? Are there any local restaurants that are capable of handling the FIRST lunch rush?
Also, any reccomendations from locals for a good pizza dinner for us?
Thanks!

Thanks for the link. I saw the Buckeye regional listed there this past weekend, but now it is not. Does this mean there will not be a web cast?

It would be a bummer if true; many of our supporters in NJ were counting on this…

On the topic of the Mini web-hug, how about at the Team Social on Friday night at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? It kind of is the idea of a social anyway, and what better time to hang out.

That would work out for the majority of us, but team 306 will be at a mini team social with two or three other teams
We’ll probably just end up seeking you guys out, search and destroy style at the actual venue.

Me and my “minis”.

the pre-order lunches arent spectacular but they are sufficent. it is prob cheaper that concessions…on the subject of going off-site i dont know since we have never done it but im not sure if there is ne thing around there…good luck to all teams!!!

When we came up in 2005 to visit me and the kids I came up with went out to lunch. There’s a Burger King and a KFC nearby. Most likely there’s some sort of pizzareia nearby. The neighborhood is not the greatest and if you wander too far you may lose track of where you are (you know how cities are some grided oddly with one way streets and such and next thing you know you are the other side of town). I reccomend using mapquest or Google Earth to search out nearby resteraunts.
