2007 Finger Lakes Regional!

1511 worked very hard this year you were all very deticated over the summer doing over 40 public demonstrations. (we were only able to do 21 things) And the ruckus was a lot of hard work to put together we witnessed it.

Our team really has a lot of respect for you especially when you cheered us on when we moved on to the semifinals in boston. Congrats on the chairmans award.

Big Congrats to team 1511 for winning the Chairmans, from some old friends in Windsor Locks CT!!!

Congrats to 1511 for winning Chairman’s! You guys really deserved it! With 40 events (community) a year who wouldn’t give it to you! You guys are amazing!

A Huge thanks and congrats to teams 1713 and 1450 for being awesome alliance partners and helping us bring home the gold. We couldn’t have done it without you. See you in Atlanta!

I will say congrats to all winners of any other awards at any competiton, because you guys deserve it. But even those who didn’t deserve a HUGE round of applause for just making it to the competitions and being able to watch your robot. We all know this is a hard challenge but we all did it! Just remember its not how good your robot does but how much closer you become not only with your team but others as well

Special thanks to the X-Cats (191) for cheering with us during finals. That helped more than you know!

Also on a side note, I absolutely loved team 316’s (LunaTecs) Robot this year! If anyone has a picture of it (or anyone elses robot) could you send it to me?

Thanks to Mike from robotphotos there are lots of pictures already up on the internet! :yikes:

To all involved in the Finger Lakes Regional:

Excellent job! This was MOE 365’s first visit to Rochester and we had a great time. The venue was fantastic, everyone was professional and friendly, and the teams were competitive and gracious. Also, the team social was a nice break from the stress of the day.

It was awesome being next to guys in the pit and being paired up on the field. I had a great time!

I also love their cheer…

“316 - Elevation Machine!”

Where might I find videos of FLR?

I had a totally awsome time and it was great to see everyone’s robots in action. Super huge congrats to the champs and to 1511 for the Chairman’s
and thanks again to 1559 and 229! I bet I’m not the only one already excited for FLR 2008.

Congratulations to all teams for their amazing performances last weekend! Moe-Zilla was amazing, the X-Cats are always so great, I could just go on and on. I had such a great time, as usual. After all, it is the best regional in the world!

Congrats to #2228 HFL Cougar Tech for your outstanding rookie performance. We knew going in you could do it! //CD needs a smiley for PRIDE

Hot off the press! - to clarify a rumor.
I have confirmation today that Xerox will provide alittle $ & Mentoring assistance to Team #2228 CougarTech HFL this year for them to go to Atlanta.

Hopefully this partnership will expand in the near future.

I will be coming down with some of the other Xerox FIRST team mentors and students to provide some input at one of your team meetings. (Someone will tell me when that is hopefully)

Remember feel free to contact me for any info your team may need. I look forward to working with your team.

Ellery
