team 103 just started last year. how can that be i thought if u were a team with a lower number u started earlier like when first just began. thats what i heard. if u do can u mail it to me by any chance. i dont think our team has enough members at the moment to have anyone record it for us. and soap and nasa will be packed i know. i know that atleast one person in my science class except me is planning on watching it if he is able to get on. the thing with live webcasts is it is not on after it ends and i am at school when it is going on this and mabe my lunch period are the only times i would be able to get on and i think when i have lunch teams also are having their lunch.
I joined the site this year, the team’s been around since the beginning. I’m a rookie thats what the rookie year thing means.

Well team 399 is in Philly as of 6:30 this morning and of course after we got here we realized that some of our parts got confiscated in Los Angeles. But it should all be good as I sit in the hotel dead tired it’s almost time to party.
why did u leave so early the pratice matches arent until thursday.
California people will lose 3 hours of sleep. :ahh: something I experienced when I moved from Davis, CA(Home of the UCDavis Regional) to here in Philly.
okay but still lancaster isnt far at all from where the regional is being held.
Maybe the team wanted to go and see local attractions. Philadelphia is well known for the beginning history of the Untied States.
okay. yeah but point is they are really early and it is alot of money to stay in a hotel.
We are coming from Cali only west coast team so we wanted to do some touring.
Edit: We are from Lancaster, California not PA so we have come around 3000 miles.

Team 399 hails all the way from Cali. For travel time, it makes the most sense to go over a day or two early. At least this way they have a) time to recouperate from jet lag b) time to get all their parts reassembled (especially ones that the LA airport wouldn’t let them bring) and c) give them a chance to acclimate to the Philadelphia environment. =)
d) come visit the Firebirds and the Ghanaians! (they arrive tonight)
we are in the Sheraton University City Hotel and will be out and around tomorrow, so we are up for meeting new people.
