Hmmm, the second part of the registration seemed way to easy
which I like. Anyone seen where payment checks have to be sent to or who they are to be made out to? Thanks.
The High Rollers have accepted our invitation to IRI… See you guys in July!

Team 47 was National Finalist in 97, lost to National Champs Team 71 (their first of many)
Add another finalist to make it 10.

Or maybe, “Where the CHAMPIONS come to play!”
(In a way, that’s more prestigious, and it gets rid of the ‘we have big egos’ interpretation)
I agree with Mr Fultz that the slogan is just right.

I think you may be missing the point. IRI is ALL about hard-core competition, bragging rights, and big egos. And for those that fully enjoy the competitive part of the FIRST program, that is what makes it so much fun.
The existing slogan is a perfect descriptor.

.
Unfortunetly there are plenty of great teams with huge egoes who haven’t won the championships, so IMO egoes is probably a better term.
with so many elite teams going its really hard to pick a winner just yet;)
altough i would not be suprised if they took it again
ANYTHING and i repeat ANYTHING can happen.
we were on the 5th seeded alliance in 06 and faced the #1 seed in semi’s they had 3 robots shooting during autonomous and scored insane points in quarters. Watching the #1 seeds quarter final matches i thought we had no hope. Then we pulled off the upset and won. The #1 seed alliance was 25,1114, and 33
To any teams that applied for IRI and are unable get in, teams 25 and 1089 will be hosting another two-day weekend event two weekends later! We’re looking for some more teams (we can fit up to 60) to attend.
