the scissors bot is really god! just placed a ball on overpass
25 seems to have alignment difficulties knocking balls off of the overpass, both during auto and teleop. I’m sure this is just programming and driver training, but it does show the flaw in the “nudging-a-ball-with-something-that-is-over-6-feet-tall” concept. That being said they ran two very impressive rounds, and their pickup method really shined.
But I was REALLY impressed by Waldo’s drivers and the way their robot seemed to be handling the course. They got a solid 7-8, seem to be sliding around the corners pretty well, and managed to deal with traffic really well. A really strong showing for the strengths of RC car robots.
