2009 Arizona Regional

Hey, who’s excited for the Arizona Regional?

I am!

Bring it on!

I’m so stoked.
Missing so much work is going to be painful, but I always have so much fun at regionals

It’s the only FIRST event I’ll get to attend this year, so I’m hoping it will be good! The NERDS are aiming for a win this year, but I’m guessing it’ll be difficult if 39 and 60 manage to pair up again… It’s hard to stop an alliance with such great teams on it!

Everyone should post pics of their robots to see what we have coming…

Adam, you just have to do a little searching for them!

Here’s links to the thread/picture for each team that I could find stuff for:

CRUSH is not attending AZ this year but they are a team from Arizona so they will be mentioned anyway:

We are very excited about AZ. It is the only regional we can afford this year, or for many years to come. We are going to Atlanta as well, but it may be a skeleton team. $@#$@#$@#$@# that economy thingy!

I love this regional so much, I’m coming out from New York to attend!

That’s a long ways away! It’ll be great to have ya down here!

team 69 from Quincy, MA, USA is coming out this year also

Alright! The more the merrier, glad to have em! :stuck_out_tongue:

Also, has anyone heard if Don Knight will be announcing again? I don’t know if it would be the same without him. :stuck_out_tongue:

Steve and I went into town to run some errands (mostly having to do with the NURC robot), and he kept saying “Robots tomorrow!!!”

I can’t believe its tomorrow! … It feels like it it crept up so quickly…

Ahh! I still have to put together a drivers station board! :ahh:

498 has just finished packing and loading everything up for tomorrow morning.

Lets start the countdown \o/

Team 69 flew in Tuesday evening (42 degrees in Boston) and have been enjoying the MUCH warmer weather today. We’re looking forward to meeting teams tomorrow and enjoying a great competition. See you tomorrow.

See you tomorrow!

Glad you’re enjoying the weather! It’s already a bit too warm for my tastes, but then again I’ll be sweating through it for the next 6 months. :stuck_out_tongue:

If you need help with any electrical feel free to ask team 69 =) I can help you if you need it.

I looked in my shop, I had some thinwall 1" square steel tubing…so I made a couple trailer hitch spacers, I’ll bring them and leave them in 1726s pit if anyone needs them. We’ll have some C bot channel too.

Is anyone bringing spare flag holders? :stuck_out_tongue:
