Any word about a webcast for us poor folks that can’t make it. Oh and please show the talent show if possible.
Just fyi, it looks like NASA TV will not be simulcasting IRI this year due to STS-127 - http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/MM_NTV_Breaking.html
Don’t worry, I’m sure at least some of the nerds going to IRI (wish I was one of them) knows how to set up at least a UStream.
In due time…
The NASA thing is really dissapointing as I told all o my friends to “watch Nasa TV”. Oh well. Thanks to whomever can set up the uStream.
It will not be on NASA TV at all.
If you need help setting up a Ustream Video. We can help. Our Media coach Kirsten did it for Ramp Riot 2008 and the 2009 Philly Regional.
Just let me know via PM.
No webcast! That would be a travesty for such a pretigious of an event.
The Wildstang collition who normally webcast it will be there, haven’t heard if they will webcast it. Just a reminder that there will be NO PUBLIC wifi in the building to get on the net with.
A team could record it all, and sell downloads.
Might be a good fund raiser. Just a thought.
There will be videos on TBA, we will work feverishly to get them up as soon as possible. The plan is in place to possibly have matches loaded up before the end of the event. TBA will be constantly updated again this year, all the bugs are worked out, I promise.
Will TBA be doing their text message notifications again?
I have a conference room reserved at work, and am ready to send out massive invites to everyone to come watch. If anyone is webcasting please post the link as soon as possible.
on ustream now
We are using a manual input flow instead of the automated system we use during regionals, so there won’t be text message notifications for IRI. Sorry!
Do you know if match outcomes are going to be posted?
Looks like they are being updated on The Blue Alliance:
I didn’t notice a link in the thread. Webcast is here: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/indiana-robotics-invitational
Looks like the feed is down at the moment due to field troubles.
Here is another link:
IRI can be seen at live.wildstang.org.
