I guess this is the learning year for me, as neither of my teams have made the run up to Clemson for Palmetto. (1618 went to Chesapeake last year instead of going to Clemson during its spring break; 2815 is a rookie, obviously.) With my allegiances as they are, I’m not sure what shirt I’ll be wearing–but it’ll involve lots of garnet and black.
342 the Burning Magnetos will returning to our home regional, and this year we are putting double locktight on the screws in the distribution block:rolleyes:. Can’t wait to see a lot of old friends. Now that I’m not driving this year, I might actually have time to walk the pits. Hopefully we’ll see a few of y’all at Peachtree to:) .
Missed you at the kickoff Billford, (or maybe we were late, and didn’t see ya :P)
1225 got a slot before it filled up. Space is gonna be tight this year. For those of you that didn’t hear: They moved the practice arena to outdoors and used the extra space to host more teams. There’s gonna be a full-size field setup in the street. Should be fun.
1319 The FLASH will be in attendance once again and we can’t wait. We will also be in attendance with our rookie Team 2751 S.P.A.R.K. we hope the FIRST community will welcome them warmly and that they have a good first time out.
Team 1676 the Pi-O-Neers will be there (again), we had such fun last time (anyone remember extreme duck-duck-goose in the courtyard?) that we just can’t stay away. Even if they moved it to Clemson (sigh. More time on the bus.)
And since Billfred will be there, I’ll be able to appeal my scorein person.
oh wow. practice in the street? well at least it will be full size. last year, it was hard to get practice time in, and it was only like 1/4 of the field.
How are your robots coming along? Our rookies this year are having a hard time learning that every second of time counts. Basicly. they are lazy.
But our robot is looking fine fo sho!
we have a couple great ideas being built, and hopefuly tested very soon.
But our team has been hurt quite a bit from the economy. We are giving out stickers this year instead of buttons. BUT our t-shirts are pretty sweet.
overall, im just happy to do robotics. It’s always the highlight of my spring semester.
