Team 79 Krunch and the USF College of Engineering proudly present the 3rd annual Tempest ‘N Tampa off-season robotics event. The USF Sun Dome will open its doors Friday afternoon and remain open all night so that teams traveling from near and far can come when they choose and be able to set up and practice when they arrive. In addition, we are pleased to offer FRC team members and chaperones a Team Lock-in at the Sun Dome on Friday night as a free and easy alternative to local hotels. Designated team sleeping areas, shower and bathroom facilities, security, and lots of entertainment will be provided.

We, hope you see you there!!!

1557 WILL be there;) 2nd year…

Out of curiosity, what’s the upper limit for number of teams this year?

We would like to have between 20-30 this year, but there could be enough room for up to 40, you never know

Tech tigers #1251 will be there in full force  to play some lunacy. I’m sure our twin brother 1902 will be around as well. Can’t wait. Ohh btw if Brian needs me to Ref again I’d be glad too, he knows the email haha.

One day I’ll actually make it to a TnT. Not this year (Ruckus is on the same weekend and has priority on my list being that I’m on the committee n’ all).

744 Shark Attack is excited to return.

TechTigers will totally be there, LOVE Tempest 'N Tampa!

TNT is two weeks from tomorrow and we have some final things to say to the team members attending. First, the LAN party will be back, bring your Xbox, Playstaion, TVs and games. There will be routers available. Also, remember that it gets cold at night, bring a blanket or sweat shirt. If you have any more questions please feel free to post them here.

Can’t wait. Overnight robotics competition…still brilliant.

Is there going to be a webcast this year again?

Yeah, There will be one. We will be using Ustream again this year. I will post the link for it soon.

1557 just registered…

Sorry for the late notice:

With the lock-in provided for TNT we always try to provide entertainment and good time for all throughout the night. One of the ways we do that is by providing hookups for a LAN party. We will be providing these again this year. Anyone who wants to bring their monitors, systems and games with them will find tables, power hookups and a 24 port switch. We’ve mostly had people bringing their 360s in the past, but you are welcome to bring any system you want to hookup and challenge other teams staying at the event.

As usual, we will have games on our 20-foot big screen, movies later on, music and even our Human Lunacy competition!

Just curious, has anything volunteer-related been sent out? (I’m flexible, but I also enjoy knowing what there is to know in advance.)

So how soon is soon? Just curious since I want to put word out to friends and family who may not be able to make it.
