What type of criteria goes into the selection other than robot performance? I see one or two teams who had less than spectacular seasons that I could see easily replaced by some of the other applicants who were not selected.
So what types of things does the IRI committee look for? (For future reference if a team of mine applies). Thanks.
Also, very cool to see Sachem Aftershock and Stuy Pulse being invited to the IRI! At least I have a few locals to root for.
Wave Robotics is very excited to be attending their first IRI competition. We had to drop out last year and it was a shame. I am sure we will have a great time and not dissapoint! I haven’t been to IRI since 2004 and am very excited to return and view this competition from a mentors perspective.
Looks like IRI is going to be absolutely insane. I cant wait to see the results of the competition; this is definitely going to be a close call. I may be going to a summer program with the two other members of our team, so we will try to watch the webcast if we can. Good luck to all of the teams competing!!
One more time when will we get the invite email and instructions!!!
Has anybody gotten it YET?
OK, I type really slow and the school systems email is just as slow if not slower:
