Wahoo! Who’s going to be participating this year? Have you guys been practicing your animation or will you be beginning right now?
I was hoping to be ahead of the game, but alas, things never go as planned

We’ll most likely be starting in a week or so, I guess they can start practicing character development this week.
Good luck this year Sandy, from MORT
Yay, Akash remembers me! Do you guys have an adult (or returning student) mentor or are you still student-taught and run?
For animation Mike Sergonis might be teaching, or Jason Hodulik, I have no idea though.
That’s good. It’s not impossible for students to teach themselves, but having someone experienced around never hurts. All of my animators graduated last year so we’ll be starting over.
We have been doing some character development in preparation. We’ll probably actually start working on this in a week.
Our team will be competing this year, we have a new member who likes to animate! So we are planning on submitting our own safety animation
Everyone ready? We finished today! I will put it on YouTube tomorrow when I have faster internet access. Looking forward to see all the entries.
Here is 1625’s safety animation.
Haha, nice work Sandy! Best of luck
Looks great !
Here’s our animation for this year:

Congrats to Team 342 for winning the safety animation contest! You did a great job!
Thank you very much. I will pass it along to the students
Hope everyone has a “safe and healthy” season.
