Wow! What a list. Good luck to all the teams. This will be fun to watch!

team 125 is ecstatic and honored to make the invite list!

Team 11 is excited to make our first appearance at IRI! Good luck everyone!

So what’s the OPR for these teams?

Can’t wait to see how IRI goes, amazing line up of teams, don’t think there will be any matches where you can predict the winner before the score is announced.

Especially with some of the proposed rule changes!

Well, this is a VERY pleasant surprise. I totally didn’t expect us to get in. :yikes:

233 is very excited to be returning to IRI. thanks for the invite

Anyone have a clear idea of what this proposal from the IRI website is suggesting? “Mini-bots may be worth equal points (20 points each?)” Seems to imply no place differentials yet further discussion of possible rule changes mention cameras and instant replay that would only be necessary for place determination…

Wow!
This is going to be awesome!

Average OPR of this team list = 34.7!

Compare:
Michigan State Championship = 26.4
Archimedes = 20.8
Curie = 24.0
Galileo = 23.8
Newton = 22.3

Awesome to see plenty of teams reppin’ Jersey.

Jim,

Can you post a list here with these teams OPR’s? Maybe even sorted? :smiley:

Thanks

1718 is excited to be back to IRI for the 2nd year in a row! This looks to be a spectacular event with the teams that are invited - we’re honored to be listed in that group! See everyone in July!

Finally seeing this for the 1st time,
its going to be fun!

Getting to hang out with all of these guys more so, even better!

It would be impossible to predict the winning alliance for sure and great proposed rule change. More emphasis on scoring tubes = better.

Absolutely Glenn! Looking forward to meeting up with you and all the other FIRSTers I missed at St. Louis. Have a couple of projects in mind too…

Can’t wait to go. Should be a most Awesome time!

Stoked to bring 125 to our first IRI!

We’ve got Battlecry this weekend and the Beantown Blitz 2 weeks from now, so we will be in prime form for IRI.

Bacon is working on its talent show entry…what to do, what to do???
