To everyone that will be attending the Wisconsin Regional this year, if you haven’t already heard, we ARE having a team social this year. We’re doing things a bit differently than a traditional social though - we’ve partnered with the Milwaukee Admirals Hockey Team and have a fantastic package available for teams for the Friday evening game.
Be sure to put in your team’s request by the 24th to gaurantee seats down by the ice and seats with the rest of the FIRST group. I’ve also heard rumors that the participant for the Human Hockey Puck during one of the intermissions will be selected from the FIRST group…
I know 1675 and 269 will be enjoying some hockey action. What about the rest of you??
Team MUST request tickets TODAY to guarnatee the good seats. You can still order tickets after today but they may not be with the rest of the FIRST group.
Over 400 tickets to the Admirals game on Friday night have been sold and we look forward to seeing you all there! If your team has not yet purchased tickets but still wants to attend, please use the previous flyer to contact the Admirals - you can still get tickets, but you may not be in the same section as the rest of the FIRST teams. We cannot guarantee tickets will be available at the event.
For those of you that have already purchased tickets, one of you will be the Human Hockey Puck during one of the intermissions! We need each team attending to please submit ONE (1) name of an 18+ year old team member or mentor and team number by 11:59PM Wednesday, February 9th to Kevin Kolodziej (kevin.kolodziej <AT> gmail.com) . Of all the names submitted, one will be randomly drawn on Thursday. Good luck!
The Admirals have also invited FIRST teams to set up a small booth during the game on the concourse to inform other attendees what FIRST Robotics Night is all about and invite them to come see the finals of the WI Regional on Saturday. We’re looking for a team or two to volunteer to man the booth during each of the three periods. This would be a good opportunity to share brochures and pictures about your team and about FIRST in general. Space will be very limited so simple is good in this case! If your team is interested in this opportunity, please also let Kevin know, preferably before Thursday.
