2014 Drive in a Day Chassis Kit

Hello,

I don’t know if this is the right place to post this but my team is looking at potential chassis kits to use for this year and we don’t know whether this kit will be able to be used with an 8:1 or 7:1 gear ratio from AndyMark.

If you would like to look at the specs for this kit go to the vexrobotics website and search “chassis”. It is labeled as the 2014 Drive in a Day chassis kit.

From the product page:

Mounting holes for CIM-style gearboxes can direct drive wheels via a 12:72 gear ratio (11:72 using the 11t gear with 12t center distance) OR a 14:70 ratio (13:70 using the 13t gear with 14t center distance)

So the best you can get without putting a separate gearbox in is 6.55:1.
