2014 IRI QUILT - We need your help!

This is the 15th IRI, and we would like to get as many previous winners shirts for the IRI quilt as we can.

The IRI quilt is always a part of the Charity Auction and some have sold for over $800 in the past.

Please help us by sending a colorful team shirt (any size is fine) that may become part of the mix.

Also please help us by contacting any previous winning teams that may not be active on CD or other social media and not aware of the request. A listing of IRI history is here - http://www.indianaroboticsinvitational.org/history/

Send shirts to IRI, 363 Bennington Road, Indianapolis, IN 46227.

Any shirts that are sent but not used are donated to a local charity or saved for possible use next year.

I am commenting on this thread to remind teams about participating in this fantastic charity event.

Additionally if you or someone you know is part of a team that has won iri, you should really reach out to be part of the 15th anniversary quilt.

Do you have a list of the teams you’re still looking to acquire shirts from for the quilt? That way we know which team numbers to try to help track down.

When is the deadline that you need to receive shirts by?

Please try to have them in Indiana (not the mail) by June 30th. Hopefully Chris will see this and answer questions about missing teams.

So would you prefer a shirt from when the team won IRI or a current shirt? I ask because we’ve changed our image quite a bit since 2006. I don’t know for sure if we have any 2006 shirts left, but I’ll ask around. At the very least I’ll make sure some sort of Foley Freeze shirt makes it to you guys.

“Vintage” would be cool, but if the shirt is threadbare or showing large amounts of wear, the quilt will lose some of it’s structural integrity.

We have never sent one before. Will do this time. Looking forward to a 5th straight year attending the event, and plan to bring more than 1 or 2 chocolate gift baskets for the auction.

If you’re able to bring some pancakes with that delicious macadamia nut sauce from Boots and Kimo’s…then I’d know what I’m gonna bet on!

i will post the shirts we have this weekend.

And we want shirts from ANY team, not just the previous winners.
